We know you’ve been frustrated in the past by less than timely response times and mediocre or nonexistent service from other businesses. We’ve been there too. We know it’s annoying, stressful, frustrating (insert your adjective for wanting to rip your hair out here)….and we believe it’s the very last thing our clients should have to deal with.
We listen, and we respond.
We promise to answer your communications with us within a maximum of 2 business days (M-F, closed on holidays) with a short phone call! We often are able to respond the very same day and will answer every question you have through the entire process from first contact to when you receive your images! Skipping the phone chat isn’t an option - don’t worry, we don’t bite and won't keep you on the phone for an hour. We’ll even send you a text before calling to make sure it’s a good time. Pro tip: add our studio phone number to your phone so you know who it is when we call you.
General scheduling information
Newborn sessions: Newborn sessions start between 10-10:30 AM on weekdays and are offered in our studio between 10-21 days of life. We do NOT offer in-home sessions. An in-home newborn session IS FAR more stressful for clients than they realize with the factors at play of temperature control, lack of beautiful natural light, etc. Trust us on this one. An an-studio newborn session is absolutely the best option for your final image results and stress levels.
If you’re anxious about leaving the house, we understand! MANY of our clients are first time mamas and/or have scheduled and unexpected c-sections, and we schedule them at the two week+ mark to give them plenty of recovery time. Our building has an entrance with a wheelchair ramp as well as an elevator, so there are no stairs for you to navigate. Lauren is also an expert at working with moms who are limited in range of motion or weight limitations for lifting. All you need to do is get yourselves here to the studio, and we’ll take care of the rest for you.
In studio portrait (non newborn) sessions are scheduled 7 days per week and have varying start times between 10:00 AM-2ish PM depending on the time of year, session type, and the nap schedules of the youngest participants.
All outdoor sessions (maternity, milestone, family): begin 60-75 minutes before sunset year round depending on the location. Availability for outdoor sessions books very quickly, and it’s highly recommended to inquire as far in advance as possible.
